This service supports ethnic people who have experienced sexual harm or abuse, whether it happened recently or in the past.
Our services include:
- Crisis Support – We provide emotional and practical support for ethnic people affected by sexual harm. We listen, explain options, connect you with local services, and support you to navigate them if needed. Contact the Crisis Coordinator by email, phone, message, or WhatsApp. Free and confidential.
- Healing and Recovery (ACC Sensitive Claims Service) – We connect ethnic people with culturally responsive counsellors through ACC Sensitive Claims (where eligible). We also provide guidance when harm occurred outside New Zealand. Free and confidential.
We can help with:
- Emotional support and someone to talk to
- Understanding your choices and rights
- Accessing counselling and recovery support
- Help with medical, legal, or ACC processes
- Advocacy when working with other services
You are in control of what support you receive. You do not have to report to the police to get help.
