SuperSHEro

SuperSHEro is a wellbeing and empowerment programme for ethnic women. It offers a fun, supportive space where women can learn, share, and build confidence alongside others.

The programme focuses on topics that support everyday wellbeing and independence, such as confidence, financial wellbeing, health, leadership, self-care, and navigating life in Aotearoa New Zealand. Sessions are interactive, practical, and enjoyable, with activities and discussions designed to keep learning engaging and accessible.

SuperSHEro also supports connection. Many women value the opportunity to meet others, share experiences, and feel supported in a culturally safe environment.

The programme is delivered through workshops, and topics may change based on community needs. SuperSHEro sessions are usually held on Saturdays and are currently offered in Tauranga and Hamilton.

The workshop is free thanks to funding from The Ministry of Ethnic Communities.
