New Service to Support Ethnic Men to Create Lasting Change

Restoring family wellbeing through culturally grounded transformation.

We introduce Te Huringa ō Te Ao, a new service designed for ethnic men who are ready to make meaningful change in their lives and relationships. This service supports men in taking responsibility for their actions, embracing healing, and growing into their roles as respectful partners, fathers, and community members.

Rooted in cultural safety, family wellbeing, and accountability, Te Huringa ō Te Ao helps men break cycles of violence and build stronger, healthier connections with their loved ones.

What we offer:
Our service is free, accessible, and tailored to meet the unique needs of ethnic men over 18. We provide:

  • One-on-one support
  • Culturally responsive education
  • Emotional regulation strategies
  • Practical assistance, including interpreters and transport

We understand the challenges of settling in a new country and the pressures that come with it. That’s why we work alongside other services and community groups to ensure each man—and his whānau—gets the support they need.

At the heart of this work is a belief in the power of reconnection—with self, family, and community. Through this journey, men are supported to embrace safe and healthy masculinity, take accountability, and lead lives that contribute to family wellbeing.

Together, we’re creating safe, respectful families and walking alongside men as they become part of the solution.
